It says it in the name basically... IT BLOCKS PATCHES

It blocks the game from downloading the Updated Patch, so you can do glitches, hacks etc which would otherwise be patched.

it blockes patches from infinity ward? or from other hackers? so if i had a patch blocker while playing online someone couldnt hack the lobby in my game? i'm confused..../facepalm

The patch blocker blocks patches released from infinity ward. If you were to go online with the patch blocker.. If there was a hacker in your lobby, they would still be able to hack the lobby/gameplay.

so do u honestly think for MW2 we even need the patch blocker anymore? Does Infinity Ward even give a rats azzz bout patching the game anymore?

If your PS3 is JailBroken then NO, you do not need the patch blocker for doing MODS. Infinity Ward are taking action towards MW2!

I guess its a good idea to lower my rank then on MW2 not to get banned by infinity ward then huh? like 15th on black ops....
