i dont wanna delete it and reinstall cause everytime i do i lose my maps

so please and thanks if you can help

You could just go into your ftp and rename your mw2 patch with your maps etc and just add a few "_" or "1's" or whatever etc onto the end. And just download the 1.12 patch again and use that for testing.
When you have found a patch you like you can just rename your testing patch and put your map pack mw2 patch back to the original name.

Youre really to lazy to take 30 minutes out of your day to DL something? Just delete it and re-install :y:
