I am going to show you how to set up a Challenge Lobby for yourself so that you can still get to whatever prestige you want, and to unlock everything (Classes, Titles, Emblems etc. You know whats in a challenge lobby)

Can only work if you have ATLEAST 1 Ps3 Jailbroken. eg. CFW or USB Dongle. (You can have 1 PS3 thats JB or use Data Transfer Utility)

Not sure if this has been posted before but i looked around and couldn't find to much regarding the topic. And i also looked around and realized a couple people were wondering how to do Big XP hacks etc.

With this patch you can get into the Multiplayer menu screen. If you click Find Game, It loads and searches but says NO GAMES. So you can't actually play online with this mod. However you can go to Private Match. Which means Challenges lobbies and it counts towards the online servers. To get back online delete Patch and Re-install

All this Tutorial is going to show you is how to have a Challenge lobby on 1.12 Patch WITHOUT playing Online.

If anybody knows anything more, please quote and i will add into the Tutorial.

Patch 1.12 for MW2, Can find here (You must login or register to view this content.) and install using Install Package Files
Or install it by loading the game with an internet connection

A modded patch_mp.ff, Look them up on google. There All over.

Jailbreak your PS3,

I'm sure all CFW's and 3.41 JB dongles work just fine.

So if your on either 3.41 Official Firmware (OFW) or 3.55 OFW first you want to install the CFW on you Console OR Jailbreak Using the Usb Dongle. Either way you Want your PS3 to run Homebrew because you will need to install an FTP Application

Install these Appropriately, If you want to install CFW 3.55 make sure your on OFW 3.55. If your using a USB Dongle for 3.41 Make sure your on OFW 3.41

If your Using Dongle, Just follow the Guide on how to use it. (You should know, Since you've probably used it before)

1. To install, Create a Folder on the root/ of your USB and call it PS3
2. Inside the PS3 Folder create a new folder called UPDATE
3. Inside the UPDATE folder copy and paste your CFW

4. Then Put the USB into your PS3
5. Go to System Update and Click [X]
6. Go to Update via Storage Media and Click [X]
7. Install the CFW (You will notice atleast 1 new folder under the GAME icon)

Once Jailbroken you want to Install an FTP Application onto your system using Install Package Files on your XMB.

1. Download a FTP.pkg and Put it on the root/ of your USB Stick
2. Go to your XMB on your Ps3 and under GAME look for Install Package Files and Click [X]
3. Look for the name of the FTP.pkg you put on your USB and click [X]
4. It will install, when done you should see a picture of it under the GAME Column

Install an FTP Client on your Computer
Once loaded you want to make a new connection

For Blackb0x, Load it, and it will tell you your Ip Address.
1. Host: Your Ip Address
2. Username: FTPD12345
3. Password: [Leave Blank]
4. Port: 21

For OpenPS3FTP load it, and it will tell you your Ip Address
1. Host: Ip Address
2. Username: root
3. Password: openbox
4. Port: 21

It should say connecting and connect. You should see the Main folders of your PS3

To acctaully get the modded patch_mp.ff onto your Ps3, Make sure you have the 1.12 patch installed
1. Go to: HDD0
2. Go to: game
3. Go to: For U.S. Version it should be BLES30377 and UK should be BLUS30377
4. Open that folder and open the folder inside it
5. You should see Default.self, Default_mp.self etc.
6. Copy over your Modded patch_mp.ff and overwrite
7. Delete both the default.self and the default_mp.self
Exit

Get Online OR Data Transfer

Getting online on 3.55 or 3.41:
1. Download 3.60 Version Spoofer v1.1
2. Install via Install Package Files
3. Start it up and Follow the Guide

Now if you Data Transfer:
1. Have a Ethernet Cable plugged in both Ethernet Ports
2. Go to Data Transfer Utility on Both Ps3's
3. Follow the Guide It gives you.

Challenge Lobby
Now it's just like a normal Challenge lobby.
1. Load the Game Modern Warefare 2
2. Go to Mulitplayer
3 .Click Play Online
4. Go to Private Match
5. Start Game

In Private Match you can still have some fun and get Everything. you just can't have others in your party.
So for now you will need to borrow their E-mail Address and Password and load it from your PS3. Then your can still give them everything they want

ps. If you tried Online it won't connect to games (servers)

tried but you can't connect with people on the 1.12 Servers. Either way, doing the Bypass on 1.11 or on 1.12 doesn't really matter. Your going to get the same end result if you want to play online. And it's the same amount of steps exept with 1.11 Patch instead of 1.12

once you update there is no going back also if you update to 1.12 and remove the default.mp things then update to 3.56 you will have to delete the patch under game data utility pretty much this is pointless but wastes your jailbreak.. i dont recommend this yet.

WHAT!!! No S*** don't update. I didn't Ask anyone to update. Did you even read the damn thing? I said use a USB dongle for 3.41 or CFW for 3.55. No where in this thread did i write update to 3.56, and why 3.56 when 3.60 is out? I said use Data Transfer or 3.60 Spoofer, Thats all. Read before you type please
