BUT also the persons friends can join them updated or not!! Therefore I am looking for a permanent co-host/ VIP (as i will vip you every time) that is bypassed. thats a lie the game runs off the host's patch and if the host doesnt have default_mp.self or is bypassed the other ppl wont be able to join unless bypassed the guys joining you obviosly were bypassed and why did you post in questions? lol

Mate I can prove it! It baffled me as well! I have a patch and start private match set time and score to unlimited then one of my friends who is on a bypass joined me.... So up to now you are correct! Then we had one of his friends join him! I can assure you they were not bypassed cuz they added me as friennd but I cannot join them directly neither can they join me! Yet when the friend who has bypassed joins he can join HIS game. It really is working he is not using the patch blocker he is somehow using resistance fall of man to bypass? Didn't know of that one.

When I did it opposite way and replaced the original mp self file our now mutual friend joined me but he had to join via him but cuz I had replaced file I had no patch.
