If you have 3.55 cfw then follow that tutorial, Install ftp, open bles/blus 00*** <-- Find this number on your cd case of mw2 and then replace the original patch with the deadlymodz 1.12.

Ok first you can follow that tutorial, BUT if you are on 1.12 MW2 you CAN NOT run GSC mods. If you are on 1.11, then you can run anything.

1.12 "patches" are CFG mods.

Sorry im noob, but how do i know if im on 1.12 or 1.11?

If your using a patch blocker, or deleted the default_mp.ff your obviously on 1.11. If you updated all the way your obviously on 1.12..

So basically, follow the "no jailbreak" tutorial, then install the 1.12 patches onto the usb since I've updated my ps3 all the way(Version 3.60)? That simple?

Thought you were on 3.55 Cfw, since your on 3.60 there is no way to downgrade to my knowledge, don't try putting cfw on 3.60 i'm not sure of the consequences you might get a console brick or ban i'm not too sure.

I thought the 3.55cfw overrides the 3.60?

I swear i read something about trying to upload firmware onto the ps3 over the current firmware will brick your system, you should ask some experienced hackers around these forums, i'm not too sure. but people say there is no way to downgrade from ofw 3.60. If it was as easy and uploading cfw to the ps3 then tons of people would have continued to do so (like on 3.55 before 3.56 update came).
