modded mw2 patch. My 3.55 cfw ps3 disk drive won't read disks. I am planning to use this

ps3 to link it with another and transfer the patches, do I need a working disk drive to be

able to transfer the patches to a fully functional 3.61 ps3. I am planning to play online with

it once I transder it. Basically what I'm asking is am I able to successfully download and

transfer the mw2 patch without a working disk drive?

I figured out that you need the game info to install the patch can anybody ftp into theirs and just give me a download link to the whole blus folder it would be much appreciated.

Yes you can use your ps3 with the broken disc drive.

Then transfer the hacked patch_mp.ff to (hdd0/game/bles00683/usdir)
Then do a data transfer to you 3.61 working ps3 and you are done
