Using a dial on the gun to change the fire mechanism in the gun, you would be able to change the fire type of ONLY ASSUALT RIFLES AND PISTOLS to either safety (prevents friendly fire), single shot, burst mode (semi-automatic) and fully automatic. I would consider this feature as an attachment in MP but atm it is just a rumor and hasn't been confirmed by IW. With tehcnology changing and improving, it isn't surprising that modern guns are able to have these advanced features. Look at the pictures which shows possible proof:

I was just thinking of this like a day ago on CoD4 of how nice it would be. Like with the M16 and the G3. There are other weapons I would like to change the rate on too but those are the main ones.

Yer but there would have to be disadvantages of this like a huge recoil effect and obviously more bullets will be wasted as not all will hit the target when fully automatic
