Post: need help with CFG patch

I am Frostbite.
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); OK, i made a CFG patch and when i put the code (NOT the XML of course) into the
    buttons_default.cfg
and I start up mw2, it crashes and I have a black screen.

Can someone help me or explain what I am Doing wrong?

Whats the file size & did u make the patch or did you use some1 elses

did you use other people patches because most of them make their patches hard to edit
if you are trying to edit someone else patch you need the original xbox patch

no im using a clean 1.12 patch that i found and converting it to xbox, throwing in the stuff, and then converting it back to ps3

Making it Buttons_Default.cfg is usually good i guess to let you where you're patch starts and why it starts there because you use dpads and other Controller buttons to execute your mod menu. that's usually why it starts there. my opinion
