I know im going to have to re-install comgenie but i just need to know first off if its going to screw up my jailbroken ps3 that i waited forever to get, and make me unable to transfer patches? or will i be able to transfer from 3.73 to 3.55, then install comgenie to it, then file transfer back just so i dont need to back up everything?

You cannot data transfer from a higher firmware to a lower firmware.

Yes, you can. All you need to do is spoof the lower firmware version, and you'll be good to go. There are several spoofed 3.55 CFW's to version 3.72. Look in the PS3 Exploits and Hacks Section.

And then an edit to this. I don't know wtf you're trying to ask. You're wanting to do the mods for MW2 on 1.12. With all of the tutorials on how to place a MW2 patch on your jailbroken system, you're asking this, right? I'd go into detail but I'll do this instead. And to put the patch on your 3.72 PS3 system, all you need to do is do a data transfer from your 3.55 system to your 3.72 system. :y:

heres your solutution on your 3.55 install a 3.72 fw spoofer linkYou must login or register to view this content. and then data transfer from your 3.72 to your 3.55 so you don't need to back up anything, after you will need to re-install the 3.72 spoofer and compgenies file manager or whatever you use to to tansfer patches i use blackbox ftp personally
Finally then you can data transfer your patch from 3.55 to your 3.72 and you still need to have the 3.72 spoofer active after you finish you can uninstall it if you want hope this helps

Thanks helped a lot god i really didnt want to re download all my map packs and savedata and try to remember all my account information >< especially since im going to be continuously testing new patches
