Post: Menu and stuff disappear after I use it once or twice?

So when I install a patch (1.12), I use the menu for a while, and then I do some stuff like try out the mods and stuff, but after I use it a few times the menus randomly stop working and when I try to press the key to open the menu nothing happens. I've tried restarting the game, restarting the PS3, etc, and the only thing that has worked is re-installing the patch. I don't want to keep doing this so
Someone help?
So far I've tried using zFI2oST's v8 patch and MrReDN34L's V6 and they've both do that.
I'll try some other patches tommorow.
But if anyone can find a solution, thanks in advance!

Honestly I have never used either of those patch's. Do you delete the mw2 1.12 patch at all? The mods don't just "disappear", they are encoded into the patch so the only reason it stops working is that you delete the 1.12 patch or you are not playing on the correct layout (tactical/default)
