(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I edited a patch ( zFI2oST V8 ) by converting it to xbox using bucshotz converter, the original PS3 file size is 236KB, converted to XBOX it was 154KB, i didnt edit much of anything all i did was change some of the texts and bind infections to different buttons and remove the enter lobby text so my friends dont notice its a modded lobby the second that they join, but when i converted it back to PS3 format the file size is 99KB, this makes no sense to me... i dont want to wait 40 minutes for my file transfer if its not going to work, can someone tell me whats up?

this one is in xbox format, just names were changed to oNiiTrOx instead of zFI2oST, some texts were removed, and the UAV ONLY infection is binded to DPAD_DOWN instead of BUTTON_BACK, thats all i did to the patch, if anyone can convert it to ps3 format for me where it isnt going to be 99KB and not work, or tell me how i can do it myself i would reallllyyyyy appreciate it. sorry for flaming the forums. im just new to this :/ im not taking credit for this patch i just wanted it to be customized to my liking so its more stealthy.

I confirmed it doesnt work by using my jailbroken ps3 to try to get into splitscreen but it just gets a black screen, any patch i convert to xbox format, and back to ps3 format with bucshotz converter whether or not i edit it it still goes back to 99KB and gives me black screen when i try to load up the game. any help would be appreciated, thanks.

If you want his patch the way you like it, get a clean patch and his patch and move everything from his patch over to your new one. You should get 236 kb file then.

Do you have a skype i can add you on so i can discuss this with you in real-time? i really want to start editing/creating my own patches but i was told to start by editing other patches, and zFI2oST's is the one i like the best that has most of the stuff i want. Thanks by the way.

Just use the PS3 .FF Viewer, it doesn't effect the file size, by much, and you don't need to convert.

ok lol but is there a ff viewer for ps3 or how can i copy the codes to a clean patch so i can edit it? and yea i understand i have seen a lot of patches that people are taking credit for by just putting there name in it but i always use the original makers patch
