Buy another ps3 one on 3.55 or 3.41 thats the only way anyone says other wise, they are liars.

I know for sure that some people have hacked MW2 game and they can do whole lots of things that cannot be done in normal game online. and I mean during late Oct and early Nov-11 (current)
My research on internet shows that it can be done but your playstation needs to be jailbroken first. Can someone help and write down steps on how to do it.
currently my system is on firmware 3.72 and an update is available 3.73 which i still haven't installed.
Please don't post downloads with surveys or ask for money. its purely for information exchance and being helpful to someone else.

but just to be sure the things that i need to do is : -

1. Get my friend to install a mod patch for mw2 on his jail broken ps3 ( my research shows elite mossy's V8 patch is the best or would you recommend anything else, can someone give a link for download )
2. check if the hack is working properly on his machine offline
3. Transfer data from his ps3 to mine via ethernet cable ( mine is 3.72 and i have updated all patches by infinity ward too can i still have mod menu online?)
4. what else...... I think i have to do some bypass before going online or that is not required??? ( i am currently only looking for hacks online , not interested in CL for now)
5. anything else i have to keep in mind to not to F**k up anything...

I know this information is scattered somewhere in ngu but i have searched a lot and could't find it in one step by step order. I would really appreciate, like and rep anyone who gives this info and links

Don't get elite mossy v8 that is 1.11 mw2 and the current mw2 is 1.12. You will have to bypass and if you ever want to play online you will lose your mods.

Yeah, it's kinda hard to give a good link to a 1.12 patch because they are constantly changing and getting better. But just go to the modern warfare 2 section and modified patches section there to find a good one try a few out. Then pick which ever one you think was best.

I would not be sure of a 1.11, it's been a while since I ever used one, but there are a lot of very good ones in the same section i am sure.
