Amazon has been taking pre-orders on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 for some time now. Today, they updated the regular edition image for all three platforms (PC, PS3, and Xbox 360).

The highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is set to release on November 10, 2009!

Also, Amazon is still offering a free $10 credit on pre-orders (all editions)...

well this isnt exactly right...first off its not "Call of Duty" just Modern Warfare 2...check gamestop it shows a lil bit different cover

Yes but it's made from the Call of Duty franchise, so yes technically it is a Call of Duty. Just doesn't say it on cover.

they probably put cod on it cos people mite not no that it was part of cod series 4 buisness purposes

Yes it is right, Activision made them put Call of Duty on it. They publish it and therefore can tell them to do it. Without Activision the game wouldn't come out. And don't say "IW could easily sell it without them cos they are huge". That isn't how it works. They don't have the links like Activision do, like to the big game shops, big internet sites etc. They won't have enough money to do it either. It isn't as simple as "Hi, here's Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. Can you sell it please?"
CoD is the selling point of the game, Activision know that and the greedy gits they are use it to make money, simple as that.
