if you are bypassing correctly make sure the fault is not on your friends end. ask hi if anyone else can join him, if no one can join him then he did not bypass correctly, people that host must bypass a little differently from people who dont and sometimes people make simple mistakes not allowing others to join e.g not deleteing the default
