Its all in the Zones of the patch. The easiest way to open up the zones is to open the patch in Buc Shitz PS3 FF editor and open up HxD and open the patch_mp.extract.data then look for some tuts on here about editing Zones. There are quite a few now. Once you get the hang of it everything should be easy.

when i open it in hxd i still get gibberish?

you must find it by either searching for it or looking on the side until you find it
