If fourzerotwo saying the rumor is false i don't think that there could still be a beta.

EDIT:Actually,FZT could just be lying because he can't confirm it until Activision says its ok to,so there could still be a chance...

EDIT 2:The more i'm thinking about this the more i still have hopes for the beta.I mean,it's not like he's going to say yes,we're going to confirm it but it's a surprise...

It's not necessarily true. He could be denying it to cover up infinity ward. And also he just saying that piece of info may be false, it doesn't mean there is no Beta. I will still hold out hope.

exactly, they have said a few things that they won't be doing, yet they have released that they are doing it soo the best thing to do is just wait for the gamescom event and see if they say anything there

because if it is supposed to be an open beta on the 10th september then this is the only major event before then (as far as i know)
