Post: MW2 patches & placement of codes

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Its been awhile since I was in the hacking community (back when 3.55 cfw was new) and now I have no clue to what I am doing, I see that the coding changed from gsc to cfg, but concerning these patches, I see people are still using 1.12 patch, when 1.13 is out, so I'm kinda confused here. I know you can data transfer and stuff, but how would you bypass the mw2 update on a non-jailbroken system (since I use the data transfer method(3.73 on 1 system and 4.00 on the online system)) to use the 1.12 patch? Oh and also I'll be making my own patches ( I just don't like using other peoples patches, using my own gives me a sense of satisfaction) but concerning that, for all the cfg codes, where exactly do I put these in the patch? (to remind ya'll, it's been awhile since I've done this, so bear with me...) Yes I know 3.73 jb isn't out yet, I'm just waiting patiently for KakaRoTo to finish up his jb.

well Basically what i did was just use a Spoofer which bypass the update on a hacked ps3 for the 4.0 firmware and then what i did was update the mw2 patch on my online ps3 did a file transfer to my hacked ps3. OR you can just find a pkg for 1.13 Patch on here and then put it in ur mw2 default.mp then ur good now put ur custom patch inside your ps3 and then do a file transfer to ur online ps3. Also what u do is download something like Notepad++ then put ur controls in the beginning well if you don't know how to do. just go to the hacks and exploits sectiion and read the first forums on how to do it if u need more help. Or just ask me a question at a time lol im multi tasking so its hard reading a whole paragraph and typing it lol

Sorry, but could you include some punctuation in that? I know you're trying to help, but it's kinda hard to understand what you're trying to say.

Well I thought I was in the right one, but technically the question is a mixture of both the MW2 hacking questions forum, and the PlayStation hacking forum...

o well but gsc changed to cfg because every since the 1.12 update 1.11 were no longer allowed to work on 1.12 or 1.13 but yes 1.12 does work with 1.13 because 1.12 & 1.13 are both cfg patches & cfg patches are really easy to make & the way you would start a cfg patch is
<menu>

Put what you want here as the title

put name of the mod here

<cmd>put command here</cmd>

& whenever you might want to end the menu & make a new 1 you would put
</menu>
<menu>

your title of menu
Easy! Dancing
Here's Link with all the cfg codes: You must login or register to view this content.

Thank you very much! but one more thing, this cfg menu, people say to put the menu in the beginning of the patch using notepad++, but I don't care to use that except for web designing, so where exactly would I put it in the PS3 Fastfile Editor?
