if ur friend had 2 ps3s 1 on 3.55 and transferred tht 1 onto ur ps3 ud be able to hack but u wudnt be able to use any of the homebrew things on it but if he transferred it from a ps3 that had been downgrade to 3.55 and to 4.00 with homebrew on i think it wud work but not sure

he just Jailbroked it on 3.55, then installed BlackBox FTP and he updated to 4.0?

Any .pkg homebrew files installed on 3.55 CFW will NOT work on 4.0 FW, as the two firmwares have different keys that are used to sign .pkg files. So, to answer your question, you'd have it, but you wouldn't be able to use it. Also, please re-word your last question in English. I can't understand it at all.

yes indeed just get any ps3 under 3.55 and jailbreak it with geohot cfw or KMEAW i use geohot and if you need it the cfw just pm me
