I have just started editing patches with a friend. We got told that Blackstorm v1.02 was a easy patch to edit so we have started with that one.

The first thing we tried to do were editing the advertisment. But it turned out it were to big for the patch/folder in patch. We looked in the folder and found the gamemode "Juggy Zombies", and we thought: Hey we don't like that gamemode lets take it out of the Patch.

But! It turned out that wasn't so easy. We tried the patch and it said: "Syntax error" every time we started it.

Now i would like to ask you guys.

-How can i take out Juggy Zombies?

-What have we done wrong in our edit?

-I have seen this symbol: } in the patch. It is between bits of text. Is there any rules for that?

You should have removed every trace of Juggy Zombies from the patch. Make sure there's no leftover scraps of it in there, such as menu entries, pieces of code,etc.
