(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Can anyone tell me how to edit the names of the .gsc in Fastfiles?

Ive been trying for a few hours now and for the life of me cannot get the names to change in my patch (almost clean right now because I cant change the gsc names)

Any help?

Right Click, Then Press Rename Selection..

It must be the original size as it was before you edited it though..

Hope I Helped Smile

I tried that, it just does nothing

I tried veiwing the file in FastFile xp and it renamed but it gave me an error and didnt save

I might've just started editing patches but I;ve learned quickly and acn edit

Its just renaming the GSC that piss me off

I even tried using a Hex editor but still no luck

BTW i think i figured out why the unlimit on your patch doesnt work.

Your Unlimited is too short, it doesnt have enough code in it

I tried putting in the correct one but it makes the file size too big

Extract the .zone file from the .ff then open it up with hex editor then use the find tool and look for .cfg/.gsc then it will have the name of that gsc explame mission.gsc then you would change that to what you want!

Honestly , There is no need to rename a gsc.. Its not going to benefit anything or anyone.. Smile

Yea I know that, I just wanted to rename them for the hell of it

But I've given up on that and I continue to learn more about making my own patch

Thanks for the Help though

You can try to decompile the GSC's and edit the, then compile them again. I have no idea :fa:
