You can use it with one ps3 but you would need a spoofer, i'm not completely sure though.

Hey mate it would be easier if you was to have 2 PS3's that way once your 3.55 CFW PS3 is Jailbroken you can do Data Transfer but if you have 1 PS3 and dont spoof it then you cant go online so its best if you have 2.
