Post: HMV customers will not get MW2 early despite emails

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I recently recieved an email from HMV stating that my MW2 prestige edition order was in the post and would get 2 me within 2-5 days. I was over the moon to think that i would get it 2 days earlier than anyone else. I saw today a news article stating that the emails are incorrect and that they have only printed off the address labels.

On Tuesday many HMV customers who had pre-ordered the game received emails from the retailer stating that their orders had been shipped. Gamers rejoiced, but fellow High Street competitors looked on anxiously concerned that the allegations could spark a retail free-for-all.
