I wanted to reach 2,147,483,647, but then PS3 crashed.

How disappointing.

Oh, can someone else beat the 359,899,680 mark? I'm thinking about doing it again, but I don't know.

Just for the record, there's no integer that holds 359,899,680 as the max number. I'm pretty sure this one is 32-bit int.

I doubt that it's the 2^32-bit int size since...

That's for 32 bit unsigned integer (0 to +4,294,967,295).

But games usually use 32 bit signed integer (−2,147,483,648 to +2,147,483,647) because it's safer and more effective when it comes to debugging errors.

If this game uses unsigned instead of signed int, we'd be seeing a lot more crash reports.

Is this some poor attempt to show off hacks?

It's getting cold in here. Have you ever stopped and think for a moment that you can actually achieve this simply by jumping off a map via glitching, which is pretty much known on this forum, right?

The purpose of this thread isn't showing off hacks, durr. Showing off public hacks would be totally idiotic, if that.

It was to express my disappointment on how PS3 crashes during the journey. I was curious to see what will happen when the distance number hits the max number. The game probably will hang at that point or the number simply stops or something else, but it's interesting none the less. I guess, I'm just bored.

If you honestly talk like this in real life, you need to get a girl, or watch some porn you 40-year old pedophile. :P

Sorry, but your logic clearly proves that you're retarded.

English text doesn't equal to speech in real life. These are two completely different things. If I type like dis lol k yo wut up or something similar, does that mean I'm not a 40 year old pedophile or that I have a girlfriend?

Ok.

Get out of a map (outside of the normal boundaries), and sprint away from the map as far as you can. Chances are that you will probably fall through the ground and ta-da!
