Yes, it's possible for PS3. 360 MW2 is very similar to PS3 MW2.

It has something to do with editing SAVEGAME.SVG.
Copy your MW2 save data to your disk and load SAVEGAME.SVG via with HEX EDITOR on PC, and good luck!

It's a good idea to get one of the hacked SAVEGAME.SVG for 360 and compare it to your PS3 SAVEGAME.SVG ... See what's different and what not.
