and what killstreak rewards count towards ur final killstreak?

Pave Low doesn't count neither does Sentry Guns I'm sure and all of the above not sure about Pred missile though.

everything counts but airdrops and carepacks. tested this with most all combinations of killstreaks, your predator missiles will get you a chopper if you kill two people but if you die directing the predator it will not.

Airdrop rewards do not count towards higher killstreaks. Killstreaks that you get yourself do count towards higher ones.
