Im currently trying to get the 40 kills with the M4A1 with FMJ attached. Its difficult. Dont see the point in it. But I would say that its only use would be in harcore modes when you see a gun pointing out of a window or something

Well FMJ is actually pretty useful on snipers, it's the equivalent of deep impact from other CoD games. I have noticed that the guns i've used it on have in fact become more powerful. And @KINGLAWLOR4, to get extended mags, just get kills through glass windows

It changes the sound your bullets make when they hit something to a deeper, more penetrating sound.

fmj makes it stronger enough said (pretteh obvious its wat it says it does so thats wat it does)

FMJ means Full Metal Jacket so when hitting someone will now effect damage noticably but when the bullet hits the wall the metal jacket peels of the bullet giving the bullet extra bullet penetration allowing it to go through a lot more walls and a lot thicker walls

It's 100x better for me. I usually get about 10-15 kills without FMJ but with it I get 20 - 30 kills

My preferred setup in most games is the M4 with FMJ and Red Dot. I did a little experiment to find out if theres a noticeable difference between the two bullet types when firing at a wall and theres was a BIG difference between the two. The FMJ hole was about 2-3 times larger than the regular bullet holes.
