you only need 2 players to boost in 3rd person cagematch. That's how you boost headshots.

One player searches for a match, and the other quickly joins the session in progress and you're in a game with your friend.

This is how it works on xbox, although you didn't specify if you have an xbox or a ps3. I don't know how it works on a ps3 because I don't have it.

I can confirm that it works the same way on ps3.
