US, December 7, 2009 - A new patch is in certification process for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and should be arriving shortly, Infinity Ward's Community Manager Robert Bowling says.

The new update is said to fix several bugs and glitches, primarily within the game's multiplayer.


-Javelin glitch fix

-Unlimited Care Package glitch fix

-Geography glitch fix that allowed players to appear in the environment, such as the rocks in Afghan.

Bowling said recently the new update would be a "big one," so we should probably expect more fixes to be announced.

Microsoft announced it would begin to ban players temporarily if they used the Javelin glitch exploit, allowing players to create a mass explosion upon death with the rocket launcher.

Sony confirmed it would not be banning players using exploits on PSN, however.

This is Going to Suck.

finally man i hated that javelin glitch

Finally, Ive been avoiding MW2 for the past few days because of all of this.

Thats good because i didn't hack to the top. But it sucks for others

Hopefully they patch the first 1000 hackers at top of everything in leader boards. So that way finding out who the real top 100 are, you dont have to hold the downpad for 15 minutes
