Using steady aim with a shotgun gives you a closer spread of shotgun bullets than aiming down the sight!!

yeah... i never ADS with my shotguns and i never use steady aim either and i always seem to find my target. you should test ADS and hip fire without steady aim and see how it comes out.

Well considering he is playing PC and is shooting a wall, I'm going to stick with ADS, even though I don't use shotguns.

yes but its a shotgun the ads gives it a bigger spread so it will hit ur target more

You hit your target in more places, but you'll probably miss more as well.

Finally realised?
Happend on cod4,5 and now mw2 even without steady aim.

When you aim down the sight of the shotgun and shoot the spray can go in a bigger area. It doesn't have a limit. But as with steady aim, the spray HAS to stay in the cross hairs. Which is why that happened.
