Technology isn't from the 1900s anymore, there are things that can detect jumping from x prestige to 10th. InfinityWard doesn't have to go down the list and jot down the names of people. We're living in the 21st century.

that's true. I'm not sure what reporting system they have in place, but you're talking about millions of accounts they'll have to go through to see if the score and playing time match up to the prestige icon.

I doubt they'll do anything about it. They might remove you from the leaderboards but I can't see them resetting accounts.

You never know. It's funny how most people are CERTAIN IW isn't going to do anything. If they don't, terrific, but if they do...

As I said I said in another thread. I bet a left testical that they wont ban anyone.

you know, there is a good chance that they will do something. IW isn't that stupid.

Maybe they set up a test or something for this, like once you reach level 1 on a prestige it remembers.

So say you are no prestige and you jump to prestige 2.

IW would know that you hacked/glitched/something because you were never actually on prestige 1, even though you are currently on prestige 2.

Not saying they did this, but they probably set up something to prevent hacking.

I agree they should do that. It's to late to catch the rest of us out though. It would take them to long to ban all of us or reset our ranks. It's not worth there effort.
