You Ninja Defuse, "technically", by defusing the bomb within 5 seconds of it being planted.

The technique for said defusing method is as follows.

Class Setup:

Primary Gun: I suggest a Sniper with heartbeat, this way you get the camo for the map you're playing.
Secondary: A pistol, in case something goes bad

Perk 1. I suggest Bling on your primary to get a silencer with heartbeat, this way you can get kills before defusing.
Perk 2. Cold Blooded is the way to go here, if you can get Cold Blooded Pro, it would be even better.
Perk 3. Ninja/Ninja Pro


How to do it:
(Obviously, you have to be defending!)
1. Go to desired base, A or B (You might want to find out which bases are the most popular for each map. You'll have more luck there.
2. Prone nearby, while still being in sight of the base.
3. Repeatedly press Y or Triangle in quick succession, this helps to make you look like a dead body on the ground, and with Cold Blooded PRO your basically invisible.
4. Wait for the victim to come plant.
5. As he is planting, prone behind him (Up close, mind you) and aim in the direction his head is facing.
6. As soon as he finishes planting, you then have the option to defuse it. Do so.
7. Revel in the sweet victory.

PS: Getting Cold Blooded Pro is very easy.

1. Set up a LMG class with Sleight of Hand and Cold Blooded on.
2. Shoot down a pavelow with just the LMG.
3. Keep shooting at it as it's spinning out of control.

You should really use Marathon, so you can get to your spot quicker and a SMG just in case theres other people around. Everything else i agree with

Thats another perk I use sometimes, but usually when your defending you spawn close to the Bases.
