For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, Global Thermonuclear War is a game mode created for the developers only.

If the developers could play it on the console versions, that means the files for it must be somewhere on the game.

It is known that the sounds for it are in the game, because if you start a HQ game on Skidrow, put Hardcore on, Killcam enabled, killstreaks disabled and leave the rest as is, start the game and join Rangers, instead of hearing "Hardcore Headquarters" you will hear "Hardcore Global Thermonuclear War"

So I'm asking, is this possible? Not how to do it, but is it, in theory, possible?

That's not how it works, we'd probs have to hack the disc itself(which unlike hacking a gamesave, IS illegal). I could be wrong but either way tbh idc, this mode WILL suck. Trust me. Worse than HQ for grenade spam O.O

I think IW will put Global Thermonuclear War and VIP game modes on the Playstation Store and charge people for them
