(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); To clear things up, what DOES the FMJ attachment ACTUALLY do?

What I think:
- Does NOT increase bullet damage.
- Allows easier penetration through obstacles/objects.
- Creates a deep impact sound when hitting the enemy.
- Allows you to shoot through riot shields.

Anyone want to disagree with any of those or add anything?

I dont think you can shoot through riot shields, but everything else sounds right

I've been playing hardcore and with FMJ my bullets seem to go through their shields perfectly :p.

At least I can fight
you can't shoot through riot shields and it does give you a slight damage increase.
It does make the sound and does make penetration easier.

I'll put up an argument.

-It does add bullet damage, you can see when you highlight it in the weapons stats that it raises damage.
- Your Right
- Not sure what you mean? You always get a sound when getting hit markers
- This is incorrect, you cannot shoot through riot shields, Even harriers and helo's can't shoot through riot shields (but chopper gunners mess them up lol)

It might just be in hardcore then. I don't know why but I seemed to be killing alot of riot shielders just by shooting at them directly.

I don't think it adds bullet damage because the weapon stats don't always mean what they show (for example, when you use the scope attachment the range goes up by ALOT).
