This is my first thread ever, (Hip Hip Hurray... :p ) so I may be crappy at this :p

Sniper Class:

I would use the very well known PP2000, for the simple reason of reliability.
I will give you an example of such.
Lets just try to imagine that you're sniping in a nice cosy sniping perch at the back of the map.
You're on a high Killstreak going for the AC-130/Chopper-Gunner.
Some trigger happy idiot goes the extra-mile to your sniper perch in the middle of nowhere to kill you purely out of pure hatred of your sniping skills :p :p You somehow spot him coming to kill you, he's too close to snipe *Oh No*.
You pull out your "trusty" shotgun and wait for him to make his grand entrance into your sniping perch. There's a hell of a lot of pressure on you not to die when you have 2 more kills for your AC-130/Chopper-gunner.

He enters, you shoot. The bullets hits him but doesn't kill him. You pump your shot-gun again, intent on killing him once and for all... While you're pumping your shotgun he knifes you.. That's right folks... It's all over that easily, all it takes is a Millisecond and you're dead. :confused:
If you had your PP2000 (Machine Pistol) You could have put a direct spray of bullets into that Iraqi know that he would drop.

You may be asking the question of "Why doesn't that idiot include any of the other machine pistols?!"
I have my reasons, some of which I will tell you now.

I will start with the G18

*G18*- The recoil on this gun is waaay too out of reasonable logic. You fire bullets at him and the Ironsights/RDS/HS tilt up towards the sky rapidly! Meanwhile, your opponent shanks you while you're trying to control your gun.

*The Raffica*- I personally have nothing against this gun. I use it quite often for HC games. It's like having the power of the M16 in one mini-pistol. You fire one burst into your enemy, he survives, you get ready to fire another burst into him and.... Yes.... You guessed it... YOU'RE SHANKED. Haha :p

And finally we get to the TMP.

*TMP*- I honestly do not get the relevance of the TMP, It's like the PP2000. The PP2000 has all of its qualities and more.
The TMP is like the Skorpion of COD4, Its rate of fire and ammo capacity don't coincide.

akimbo glocks is amazing idk whatyour talking about. aim at the private area and its basically an auto headshot

Handguns are a lot better than machine pistols, since you switch to them quicker.

Akimbo raffica. Period.

I never count in Akimbo weapons, they're too inaccurate.
It's very hard to kill a enemy from a medium-long distance when you can't aim.

And as for the handgun. Good point.
But Imo, the only handgun that you can truly trust is the Magnum.
The Desert Eagle had way too much recoil.
The M9 and USP are too weak for my liking.

But the Magnum only has 6 bullets in a clip.
I don't trust semi-Automatic weapons anyway :p

i would liiike to disagree with james1284 as i regularlyuse AKIMBO rangers and i use a double tap shot therefore there is no chance of his situation of the sniper spot and getting knifed while reloading actually happening because if the first shot doesnt kill him the 2nd will and if it doesnt i always have my trusty commando

usp fmj for people with real gun skills and a quick trigger finger

My 2 favorites are the Spas-12 and the raffica with red dot

David, Ironically the Rangers have no range. The pellets have too much spread aswell. So killing someone from 12 foot away from you is very unlikely. (Tell me if you manage it :p )
I would have suggested the Model 1887's due to the range and stopping power of them but there has been a patch that negates them from being of any use now :mad:

have bling-pro on and use akimbo and fmj on the models you still get the old daft range
