There are a ton of threads now saying how to get a nuke. What's even more annoying is that most of those threads use the same strategy:

Camping.


I have nothing against camping. It's by far the most effective strategy in the game. But if you are no good at camping and getting a nuke (like me) a chopper gunner or AC130 will do nicely.

First off, you can use any class that you are good with. Unlike getting a Nuke, you won't be camping much and don't necessarily need perks like cold blooded or ninja.

Your kill streaks, however, should be the following:

1) Predator Missile
2) Attack Helicopter
3) AC130 (Or Chopper Gunner)

I recommend using Hardline, but if you find another perk necessary than go ahead and use that instead.

First, everybody is good enough to be able to get a predator missile. If you aren't, just keep trying and you'll get one by sheer luck.

Once you get it, find a place to hide temporarily and call it in. The goal is to kill two people. On most maps, this is easy. If you can't get two kills, make sure to get at least one. After that, you'll need to either camp to get one kill (should take like 30 seconds) or take the chance and go hunt someone down.

Now you will have enough kills for the attack helicopter. Call it in, and then hide.

There is a difference between hiding and camping. Hiding, you likely won't get any kills, but you aren't in a position to get killed, such as at the very edge of the map. Camping, you need to be close to people so you can get kills, but you are also liable to be killed.

The goal here is to not be killed. You attack helicopter should get a few kills. Wait for the heli to be destroyed before leaving your spot. If it doesn't get you the four kills you need, it should get you three. In that case, just find someone and kill them, via camping or grenade spamming or whatever your best strategy is.

Although this guide seems simple, trust me, it works. For everybody. I've introduced it to lots of friends and since then they can all get AC130's, even though one of them had never gotten higher than a harrier strike.

It's camping less than getting a nuke lol. Anything above a 10 killstreak either requires a little bit of camping or a lot of luck.

attack helicopter sucks ass. I get it all the time and rarely ever get a kill... Harrier gives you an airstrike which will get you a few kills then if you're lucky more

Pave low i would use than attack heli

I was told an attack helicopter/ the pavelow a.k.a mexican choppa doesnt count toward your killstreak

I'm sorry, I haven't read any further than this and I'm compelled to reply.

Anything above a 10 kill streak requires camping or luck?

I've had a chopper gunner on multiple maps before anyones even had b flag...

Example, start off the other day on karachi with a quad aa-12 spray or today on favela I had a quad at-4 on C flag just as they took it. (this wasn't "luck" I do it almost every time I start on C side)

With good reflexes, the right class for the map and knowledge of the map you can easily get a 10 kill streak.

Hell I can't remember the last day of play where I haven't had at least a 10 with no rewards on (not every game but at least a 3rd of the time I play).

Camping is considered a legit strategy , I don't do it, but so is running, and I rack far more kills and far better streaks with running than I do camping.

All in all, a 10 streak for a low-average player is easy with map knowledge, for a knowledgeable player a 10 streak is easy as burning toast.

To add now that I've read.... this is a guide to getting a 10/11 streak... The purpose of this is to get a 4/5 streak then easily get 6/7 with the predator , then again easily get 10/11 with attack helli...

Why would you wanna go 5/9/11 for your streaks? Are you really gonna get a quad with your predator every time?

1 or 2 is basically guaranteed every time with a pread *unless your me and suck at using them* from there 75% of the time your gonna get the other 2 or 3 you need with a harrier/attack helli...
If this was about what helicopter was better we know what would win... there is a reason its 9 not 7

Harrier > Heli, any day. Harriers are better than Heli's at not only shooting, but you get the added bonus of the airstrike like Dopey said.

I was told the same thing but my pavelow got me an AC-130.
I guess people that started that rumor probably got it from a care package
Another thing I realized is some killstreaks dont count towards your killstreak after you die...

I got a pave low after 9 killstreak (not with care package) and it doesnt count towards
