Haxor!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I am no mathematician so I am posing this question.
How many possible combination of unique setups can be made in a custom class.

The straight forward equation would be to multiply the number of
each category in succession I think as a start
primary weapon * secondary weapon * equipment * perk 1 * perk2.. etc.
the only thing I don't know how to handle is that since each weapon has attachments and there is bling so say you use bling you might use it on one weapon or both that is where I need a math person.

It's late I am going to stab at this tomorrow if no ione gets to it before me

I would say the number has to be quite high.

I would also say that a number so high would show what Infinity Ward is dealing with when they put together these class options and show people that just because a certain class combination can be made does not mean that Infinity Ward put it together that way on purpose.
When complaints come in about certain combos the easiest answer people give is that if Infinity ward did not want us to use it that way then they would not of set it up that way.

I want to show how staggering a number Infinity Ward has to deal with when it comes to class configurations. Things slip through.

And don't wear it out.
68400 without attachments. If somebody can post a list of attachments (like what attachments are for assault rifle, smg, pistols, ect.) Then I can do the rest. Right now, cant check though.

its too late to count them now, I'll do it tomorrow (dibs)

one thing:
Do I include pro perks as different from normal perks? like a class with stopping power is different from the same class with stopping power pro?

As original poster I thank picklecow10.

My thought on regular vs pro is only count the perk as 1 because you start as regular and then graduate to pro, and although you have added features once you are pro you can't go back to being a non pro (unless you prestige but that is too much)

The why on this?

Any time anyone criticizes any feature of this game the noob who uses that feature whether good or bad the ONLY argument everyone seems to come up with is "Infinity Ward put it in the game and they knew that if you put perk1-2-3, equipment, attachment, weapons together this is what would happen so it must be a feature."

65k+ (without attachments) shuts down that argument right then and there.
who has the spatial power to compare 1 load out to the other 65k and be accurate right out the box.

No there are some combination that were never intended and Infinity does fix some of them that is why they patch and nerf.

A good example are the shotguns recently nerfed.

A good example of getting it right first time is grenade launchers and thumpers combined with scavenger.
With that they limit a grenade pickup to 1 and only if you are currently fielding that weapon. Could you imagine this game with noob tubers using scavenger and being able to launch 2 grenades from one pack then change to rifle for protection, scavenge more grenades then immediate launch 2 more grenades and do it all over again?

Here is something else to think about.
read the post linked at the end.

I would subscribe to the theory that yes Infinity Ward knows what they are doing with all the different class load outs.

The reason they are doing it is to balance the game. They know the people with skill won't use these combos it just isn't fun doing it that way.
But...
The less skilled we will called them eye to hand mentally challenged Smile, This is the only way for them to play and therefore to buy their games and add on packs.
So Yes these things like knifing and such are there to keep the retards happy and buying.
Because remember folks this is a first person SHOOTER, combat game. No one has yet to advertise this game as a First person KNIFER.
