probably because it has been corrupted, there was a patch update. You now have to bypass it in order for you to be able to do this. However the method you are using is the right way to do it.

it is patched but there is a way around the patch. Thats what im saying, you might need to find a different save file to use though

what save file would work the problem is I cant find one. Also Ive been using the patch blocker and it will let me use 2nd through 10th prestige but not first.
