ive been having a great connection since the game came out and me or my mate usually get host, and we go like 50games before we come off and we'll host them all,
BUT
lately like the last week , whenever i host a game now,everyone will start on 4bar, then within 30seconds everyone drops to 1bar, and then the game ends, this is getting quite annoying as i said , i used to be able to host games all day.

none of my wires have been taken out/knocked/no settings changed etc.
my nat settings are open, no firewall is running, and i dont know what else to try now,

anyone have any more ideas, im more than listening , (im begging for my 4bar back) haha.

Mhmm i did it always with the lag switch when i was host i got 4 bar than i pressed start on my program and everyone has got 1 bar whitin me

im not lag switching, or nothing , all leads are original , untampered etc , i just dont understand how everything was perfect from the game coming out, till a week ago,
i have even phoned the ISP and they say all settings are open, and not on secure/strict etc , so the only thing i can try is to go through all the modem settings and see if something is out of place, and start all over again

sorry i forgot to mention that my net is hardwired, it is not wireless, and so i havent looked into port-forwarding etc as its not going wirelessly

port forwading sitll applys if your wired.

They did do something w/ one of the patches tinkering w/ something like this, not sure if it's related.

haha, welcome to the board, ive been here a while just never post,

well, just an update for everyone ,
all ports were open, cant remember which ones they were , but theyre open anyway , all nat settings reset, and all connections have been reset in the last hour, just had a 7 games and hosted 6 of them without problems , the other i didnt host so no problem either way.
if anyone else is having similar problems, try changing the settings which ''file and printer sharing'' between laptop and xbox, also i have turned the windows updates off, also have turned off the standard windows firewall, and opened all exceptions regarding file sharing, and now it all seems ok after a modem reset,
