That would be realistic but if you could do it with sniper rifles, you could do it with automatics and that would make the chopper almost usless knowing the entire enemy team is emptying a mag in you choppers driver. . . .

Anthony. It's called being realistic as much as you can in the game development. In real life snipers shoot gunman in the helicopters. If you haven't known that.

I'm sure he understands that, but its a VIDEO GAME. Not every aspect of the game should be realistic. I do not like this idea because I want to be able to have fun and get kills, not get shot as soon as I start shooting. IMO the game should be more fun than realistic.That's what makes a great game. Plus, when you say"In real life snipers shoot gunman out of the helicopters."This is not entirely true. Do you know how hard it is to shoot a moving target moving at over 60 mph while in the air? You rarely here about our US marines getting sniped off a gun turret in a armored helicopter.You'd have to be an extremely skilled sniper to do that, due to the trajectory of the shot, wind velocity and the Coriolis effect.
