I recently moved to xbox and have kept a 3+ K/D and luckily kept a 1+ W/L but that could easily be changed by me joining a game which has already started.
The other day I joined a game of team deathmatch where my team were on 2000 score and the other team was on 5000. So i was just like great thats a loss for me.
Its matches like that which piss me off. Even the games where you spawn at the end and your team has just lost it still counts.
This is unfair and it should be changed. How do you think they should change it?
A method would be to be able to filter pre game lobbies and in-game matches so that your not affected by this. This will allow those who dont care about stats to go into games as they please :y: It could easily by default be set to find any game and then be tweaked in a setting to only find pre game lobbies.
Another method would be that there is a cap on score difference which will affect your W/L. For example if you join a game and the score is 2000 - 2400 you can continue to play that game and it will affect your W/L.
Or if you join a game thats 2000 - 3500 it will not affect your W/L ratio. :y:
This is mainly for people that care about their stats and want to keep at least a positive W/L
I see what you're saying, but, something like this would be like Halo's Matchmaking. Where if you're on your own, it takes several minutes to find a game. I care about my win/loss, so I see why it makes you mad.
I like your idea of it not affecting you if the score difference is high, but, if it's 2000 - 3500, and 3 people join late and lose, they're just playing a free game. A good win/loss is hard to keep, but I don't think they'll do anything.
