Assault tier counts towards your killstreak.

Support continues even after you die.

Specialist resets once you die and can't count towards your killstreak since its only perks.

Just kidding, you're thinking of point streaks, so you get rewarded for earning a certain amount of points without dying.

I'd imagine the assault ones do but not the others as one set is extra perks and one is non lethal i THINK and it doesnt reset when you die.

Yes they do. In one of the videos you can see how somebody kills 2 people with his predator missile and gets his chopper after Smile
