Do a barrel roll!
The ACR in MW3 is a 6.8 caliber, in MW2 it was 5.56. The MW3 version will likely do more damage, so they probably tweaked its other stats to balance it.

But not just the ACR but the MAR sniper rifle has change too from the stats we saw from call of duty XP....makes me think that all the guns that wasn't playable had phony stats....can't wait to see all the final gun stats...

Please send a link? Also, the comment above me is right, the ACR has more damage but less accuracy I think.

I agree with you...ACR needs to more damage. I was really disappointed with the gun in MW2.
With more damage, the gun might be more enjoyable to use.

As the guy a few posts above said. They are different calibers. The ACR in MW2 was a 5.56mm and in MW3 It the 6.8mm bullet version. Naturally its going to do more damage, more damage means more velocity, more velocity means more recoil. That's why a 7.62mm has high recoil, high damage. A 6.8 has noticeable recoil, good damage. and a 22mm has very low recoil and rather low damage. They are trying to make the game more realistic. It helps to understand the guns and their calibers.

Easter Egg!
acr was a good gun, hardly no recoil, combined with scavenger+stopping power+whatever else it was pretty good.. in mw3 they`ll probably change the damage to high because of no SP.
