What I can say to you is make sure that you finish your game fully so that the match bonus and rank progress sticks rather then leaving the game or signing out come back to find out you have lost your current rank progress. Nobody is sure yet why this is happening maybe because Infinity Ward wanted to stop the stat whores leaving the game because of there KD Ratio or Win/loss ratio is bad. Maybe it is a genuine unforseen glitch that will be patches asap. Either way I do agree that this is very unfair if Infinity Ward did this because lets say you leave a game by accident you would still lose your rank progress and unlockables for no reason whatsoever you are quite entitled to leave a game whether you feel like it. So for example if your becoming frustrated with how your game is going you can leave a game and quickly join another match
