Now, in the prestige shops it says that the gear will be unlocked in future prestiges or something, but I wanted somebody who's prestiged more than once to confirm if it's true or not? So my question to you guys is: If you unlocked gear in your 1st prestige, did it carry over to 2nd prestige?

one would guess that happens as i unlocked ACR6.8 an stinger (cause there is nothing more annoying than dieing from air support) an if everyone keeps unlocking 1 gun per prestige they wont be able to unlock titles an classes

Yes you will have it unlocked for all the prestiges to come.
