I can buy either one, if someone else actually owns one or both of them could you tell me the difference in sound quality, sound direction, etc... Oh remember i'm buying these JUST for CoD not movies or music.

Thanks..

7.1 sound built-in in my living room. So fun to sound-whore, but if you want to hear everything around you, try to get a 7.1 headset. I honestly have no experience with Tritton.

I have tried both of these headsets... I actually bought both of them at the same time to do a side by side comparison. The 720's have one main driver (speaker) in each ear, thus giving better actual sound quality. The Pro's have multiple speakers in each ear, thus giving better directional sound. I personally didn't notice that big of sound quality difference from the 2, and for me personally the directional sound is more important for sound whoring and hearing footsteps. The Pro's also come with a adjustable pad on the cord which you can control the volume of all the speakers. I know others on here have the pro's, and for not much more money I would recommend those all the way. I don't think you will be disappointed! If you can, just buy them both and do the comparison yourself, just make sure you keep the receipt! =P Hope this helped!

I have the 720s and they work as a charm. On MW 2 and MW 1 where the sound engine was awesome you could hear everyone around you and know where they were coming from (left, right, up) and stuff. But on Black Ops and MW 3 the sound engine is a piece of shit and you can't hear as clear as in other Cods with the 720s.

But if you use specialist package you can use Dead Silence and put SitRep PRO that will give the quality of the engine on MW 2. Also if I'm not mistaken the 720s are 5.1 digital, I heard that 7.1 (at least on MW 1 and 2) headsets could hear people with Ninja/Dead Silence, I don't know if that is true or not tho. If you want the best headset and have the money to buy them, but an Astro A40, those are the BEST gaming headsets out there right now.

But Trittons are AWESOME too. As far as I know Sandy Ravage uses 720s.

I was looking into these the only 'real' problem i came across is that they are wireless, i really don't want to keep buying batteries everyday i want to game. Thanks for the suggestion though.
