(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well, in terms of the newest game of the Call of Duty series, Modern Warfare 3, it not only has dominated previous sales records, it has also set records for online play which may be undefeatable. Xbox Live and the Playstation Network are receiving ridiculous amounts of people attempting to login and catch up with their friends to engage in battle amongst other online players. However, with such a high profile game, cheating is to be expected.

No matter how many security measures you take, the rise of technology and the knowledge of society will eventually find cracks in the system. Call of Duty is no exception, with more than 1600 gamers being caught and banned for various reasons including cheating and hacking.

The man 402 himself (Robert Bowling) took to the media to make a statement to cheaters and hackers, saying, "Any attempt to cheat, hack, or glitch in [Modern Warfare 3] will not be tolerated."

420 continues to support players in reporting cheaters and those who are make the game less enjoyable.

Infinity Ward is doing its best to stay up to date with some of the latest glitches and exploits within the game, hoping to patch them prior to any ban being dealt out. It has said that numerous "hot fixes" are already in the making ensure the security glitches and loopholes are fixed
