This topic has drifted off BIG TIME. I want people to know this threads purpose was to show you that IW is concentrated on Fixing Call Of Duty Elite on Xbox before the even worry about ps3 Elite

Stop your little 12 year old bitching. It's called Marketing. MS knows how to do it, and they exploit the shit out of it, and for that I applaud them. I can't wait for them to buy the contract again.
Its one of those incentives that they keep buying for their loyal customers that continue to pay for their service. This is where that comment "YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR" comes in to play.
Before any of you say shit, I DO own both consoles, and have gamed on them both. I just prefer games like COD and BF on the 360. As for my [s]dust collector[/s] PS3, I ONLY use it for Blu-Rays, DVD's and FIRST PARTY titles. Sony has it locked down for Single Player. Xbox can't tough that, but as for CROSS PLAT-FORM (PS3 and 360 games, like MW2, BO, MW3, etc.) Xbox has the MP locked down tight. No hacks, glitchers get banned, early maps, etc. So don't bitch because you can't mow a few lawns or some shit to pay a fair price for a years worth of service.

The contract with Microsoft that Activision has to give them content first, is up next year. I'm curious to see if it'll be renewed, or even if we'll have ported games after that. However, since it's easier and they've perfected it now, I'm sure we'll still get a ported copy of the next CoD. The better system* has the worst play-ability isn't it ironic?

For all the fanboys, doesn't matter console. The internal components of the PS3 rock anything any other console has to offer. Don't get me wrong, other consoles such as the 360 have live, which in my eyes is an amazing feature and has made me think about switching on numerous occasions. I simply said it cause of the components of the systems.

There is a reason why XBOX gets exclusivity or gets their stuff first. It's simple blackmailing... Game Informer ran a piece on it a month or so ago about why Microsoft and XBOX users get DLC preference over PS3 and PC users. They use threat tactics. They (microsoft) threaten a non-release on their platform unless they get some sort of preference. In the case of Call of Duty, earlier DLC than PC and PS3. Dirty tactic? Sure. Effective? Yes. It's sort of like Nintendo with their licensing. Remember what happend to Tengen? They made their own cartridges, kept their royalties, etc and they were then sued by Nintendo, and later settled out of court. There's more to this than a lot of you guys think. It's not because XBOX users pay a stupid fee to play online, it's because of Microsoft's blackmailing/threatening tactics.
