Yes they cancel each other out and the audio is the same as any other 3rd perk. Also Ninja Pro only affects fall damage and has no impact on audio.

That doesn't really answer his question. He knows what the perks do, just not if the two cancel each other. In MW2 they didn't.

Sit rep pro allows you to hear DS users however.......
They have to be quite close to you. So it not a full cancel out.

I think DS is a waste because even though other people CAN hear your footsteps with SitRep Pro, you cant hear your own footsteps and theirs are louder + you can find claymores and bettys! without a question SitRep > Dead Silence IMO.

Or if you want to be completely silent, use Hardline with the Specialist strike package. Set it up as:

1 kill - Dead Silence Pro / Sitrep Pro (depending on which you have)

SitRep Pro does NOT cancel out Dead Silence even though they say it does (Or how it's supposed to).
Tested this by having a friend with it run around me. Does not cancel each other out.
