U may run into some problems when trying to redeem the founder card code, if u bought it from someone., as I did. I called activision today, and got some much needed info to help my situation out..

The hardened edition comes with a code on the back of the founder book, and with a founder card that has a code on it also.. The code on the back of the founder book, is for elite premium and founder status.. So if u redeem the code on the back of the founder book, u will recieve elite premium and founder status together..

The code on the founder card, is for proof that u have the hardened edition of mw3, which proves u have elite premium and founder status.. I was told that the founder card was issued, incase elite was hacked or if they lossed all of thier data on thier servers, so elite has no way to prove u had elite premium/hardened edition, without the founder card code..

Which leads me to my problem that I had.. I tried to redeem the founder codes that I bought from people on NGU.. And the only way I could redeem this codes, is if the person who sold me the code, had not redeemed the code on the back of the founder book.. Which both people did redeem the code on thier founder book, which in turn made my founder card codes useless and not redeemable for me..

So if u plan to sell or buy a founder card code, u have to make sure that the code from the back of the founder book has not been redeemed yet.. Because if the code from the founder book is redeemed, then the founder card code becomes useless.. It is now only good for proof of purchase, and u will get a "invalid code" message when u try to redeem it..

I hope this clears some things up in regards to buying and selling founder card codes.. Hopefully this info can prevent u from having to file a dispute, or from having a dispute filed against u on NGU..

Please specify, redeem what more than once?? The code on the back of the founder book, which is elite premium+founder... Or redeem the founder card code???

I have the hardened edition, ALL accounts that bought Elite before December 13th got Founder Status, doesn't matter if with credit card or code from hardened edition, the Founder card is incase you get the hardened edition after December 13th so you can still get Founder Status say if someone got the hardened edition for christmas then they just redeem the code on the Elite website AFTER they have premium membership
