This is how I do it there probably is different ways.

1. Start a MW3 (or other COD) party.
2. Upload a video to Youtube.
3. Wait until the video has atleast 1% uploaded, then find a game.
4. Once the loading screen for the map comes up cancel the upload.

Note: This may take a while to get people in your lobby. Great for boosters so you have a longer time for everyone to join you. Also works with all CODs.

even if your net type moderate?

I'm pretty sure you can not get host if you have moderate NAT Type

It shouldn't, all the times I boost with other people I'm always host so I have to leave so we get the xp.
